[ Disclaimer: I know I shouldn't admit this. ]
I am very excited to one day get married. For all the right reasons.
But also, I am really excited to get kitchen supplies! I've been around long enough to see that people bless you. In fact, in our community, they really bless you. I can't believe some of the random kitchen toys (yes, toys!) my friends have received - the coolest things they would never spend their early-marriage budgets on. For me, I'm really excited for a Kitchenaid (don't worry, I won't forget my end of that bargain) and for copper pots!!
Oh yes, and I cannnot wait to get the best part of my kitchen - my future cooking partner. :)
(i hope)

The colors of these glasses are the colors I will likely highlight my some-day kitchen with. At least, those are the colors of all the coffee cup sets I've bought (and copper- I'd die for copper pots & pans one day). And I think they look so lovely as glass. The purple will always remind me of the glass blowers in Venice, and the green for some reason makes me think of my childhood and home. To me, it's "Kelly green" though I can't exactly place why. I think we had (have?) some green punch glasses close to that color.

I don't know if this is a cheese block, cutting block or bed-in-breakfast tray, but I love it! And truth be told, it'd be all three to me (maybe not a cutting block). My mom's influence on me is all too strong, I definitely had the almost immediate thought, "I bet I could make that!" :) PS, has anyone seen my back yard lately? Goodness.
