SONGS MOST OF US SHOULDN'T SING,
BUT DO ANYWAYS:
Falling Slowly.
Adele (ALL of it).
Alicia Keys (see above).
"And white people should not sing along to rap." -Kristin (I disagree. Her life wouldn't be the same if I didn't sing along to a little for her here and there.)
"You don't have to be rich to be my girl...."
Another one. We shouldn't, but we do. We do it anyways. (You might be doing it now.) And we don't really care. I find myself singing along and it's all fine, until I'm halfway down a note and tumbling after it, suddenly remembering that I can't ever hit that note and I've tried before. I've got two choices, just play it out and play it painfully proud, or cut. Right then. Just stop the noises from exiting the throat. If I'm with a certain few, I'll just try to distract from my inability and shame with a little awesome dance solo. Usually it works. Sometimes it scars. They recover. Eventually. (Megs?)

ha. you are all about the "(see above)" today.
Dance and howl away, Kay! Singing is good for the soul!!! I think my neighbors agree and if they don't they haven't mentioned it. Actually, I'm starting to wonder if they exist... they haven't SHUSHED ME yet as some are prone to do.
:) You can belt out "Someone Like You" as loud as you want and I will not quiet you my friend!
Or anything by Queen, as I attempted last night in front of my roommate, her boyfriend and her client. lol. Life's full of lessons. :)
