I have been seeing 777 everywhere!!

First, I buy myself a coffee in the airport- then decide to grab two granola bars for my manager because they are wheat-free (she's allergic). The total: $7.77 That's cool I think, and I take a picture.

I walk back to my manager and we go find a seat to wait for our flight to board. We open her wedding magazine (she's planning her wedding...we had a reason, haha). Looking through these stories and pictures, she says, "That's cool." And points to the spot on the page as she reads "...knew she always wanted to be married on 7/7/07" Huh. I tell kathryn about the coffee total.

Then, I was signing in to purchase internet, and as I opened the list of networks one said something and $7.77!!!

At this point I am thinking "WHAT?! NO WAY!" or as Kim would put it "GET OUT!?"

Yep, then today, I start laughing as I walk by a caboose coffee stand that has in giant gold numbers across the front 777

So---

????

I've got pics of them all that I'll add soon. ;)

love you

Here is what I got on the personality test (Kim)

INTJ - The "Strategist"
Myers-Briggs Personality Types (Free Test)

Introverted: 63%
Intuition: 84%
Thinking: 53%
Judging: 79%

INTJs are introspective, analytical, determined persons with natural leadership ability. Being reserved, they prefer to stay in the background while leading. Strategic, knowledgable and adaptable, INTJs are talented in bringing ideas from conception to reality. They expect perfection from themselves as well as others and are comfortable with the leadership of another so long as they are competent. INTJs can also be described as decisive, open-minded, self-confident, attentive, theoretical and pragmatic.

About the INTJ
Expert Quotes & Links

"...approach reality as they would a giant chess board, always seeking strategies that have a high payoff, and always devising contingency plans in case of error or adversity."
- The Portrait of the Mastermind Rational (iNTj) (Keirsey)

"...observer, values solitude, perfectionist, detached, private... does not talk about feelings, hard to impress, analytical, likes esoteric things..."
- Jung Type Descriptions (INTJ) (similarminds.com)

"To outsiders, INTJs may appear to project an aura of "definiteness", of self-confidence. This self-confidence, sometimes mistaken for simple arrogance by the less decisive, is actually of a very specific rather than a general nature; its source lies in the specialized knowledge systems that most INTJs start building at an early age. When it comes to their own areas of expertise -- and INTJs can have several -- they will be able to tell you almost immediately whether or not they can help you, and if so, how."
- INTJ Profile (TypeLogic)
"At work, INTJs use their conceptual strengths to analyze situations and then develop models to understand and anticipate through relentlessly to reach their goals. They will continue on with their plans, even in the face of adversity and data that might suggest to other more practical types that their goals are no longer feasible. By nature, INTJs are independent individualists."
- INTJ - The Free-Thinker (Lifexplore)

"INTJs are natural leaders, although they usually choose to remain in the background until they see a real need to take over the lead. When they are in leadership roles, they are quite effective, because they are able to objectively see the reality of a situation, and are adaptable enough to change things which aren't working well. They are the supreme strategists - always scanning available ideas and concepts and weighing them against their current strategy, to plan for every conceivable contingency. "

We are back on line folks.

The "private" blog status was making things too difficult and no one seemed to be able to get in (except Kim)...too much work.

So I suppose come one and come all. :)

PS. Life is good, and gets even better.

I'm preparing my poetry portfolio, which is due at noon today.

Thought it would be fun to share this poem:
(as with most of my poems- I think I prefer the originals, but I HAVE to revise them, so here is the revision)

Two Figures at Sun’s Crease

Sunny days, old trees grown tall.
Honey waves, sweet air, birds call.
Shoes laced, everybody’s ready to haul.
Trail leads down, down, down, fall.

Another world: birds, bees, owls storming at our heads.
Wolves track our scent, a creature hunts our tread.
Our pace quickens, roots reach for our feet.
One’s taken hold of Aime, she’s down on her knees.

She’s up, back in a run, we can’t stop here for long.
Even as we pant, feet rushing, we can hear their song.
They are behind us, beneath us, but we’re unafraid and strong.
We call it “ba-rock-ing” every ground we step on.

It’s an ancient war word for seizing the territory,
The Hebrew God told the 12 tribes that every
Inch that they tread on He would give them in victory.
So we barock through the darkness, till our toes touch the sea.

And suddenly there’s peace.

The land is ours, everything as it should be
As we look across the beach.
Our hearts are still, our fears all decease.
Two figures rest at sun’s crease.

I am getting ready to head to Elise's personal shower!!! I cannot even believe it at times....my childhood best friend, is soon to be a bride. Sometimes I think the 'future' will never come, then I realize it is already upon us.

I remember some of my earliest birthdays with Elise. I remember this perfume she gave me at like 4, it was the coolest gift ever! We sat out on her front porch with it. I remember putting on Eric's cowboy boots and walking around laughing, and his cool 'pony'. I remember playing up in her room...and crawling under the crib and dropping the side down so we were 'caged in'. She had a doctor's kit, that we'd take turns being the doctor, listening to the "baby" in the other's tummy. I remember dancing on their fireplace hearth. Kindergarden, when my family first moved in, next to my best friends Elise and Robert! HEAVEN! I remember eating lunch at their kitchen table, little pink clear plastic cups I believe (maybe blue?). I loved her mom's spaghetti best, and she loved my mom's best- we had a deal to always invite the other over for Spaghetti. I remember laying on the floor upstairs, our ears to the vent, giggling as we listened to our moms down on the couch, talking about adult life.

Adult life......

I need to go shower, pick up something sweet, and make sure her beautiful gift is wrapped perfectly.

My best friend is so soon to be a bride, and wife. The Lord must delight so much in watching little girls grow up, I know I feel His delight when I watch Elise carry herself with such beauty and grace, and freedom. What a beautiful bride she is. :)

Spilling out on paper.
Pouring out these words You've put in me
Creating with my Maker
Overflowing passions, unveiled for all to see.

Oh, free, free, free.
Becoming all you have called me to be.
My fingers play the strings,
words, sounds, stained across the screen.

My heart, knows nothing but glory
Its forgotten its ebony,
Its lost its sense of history
Its holding on to one thing, eternity.

Eternity with my King.
Thats why my heart makes my fingers sing
Its the gift I can bring,
A holy wedding offering
