Lunch dates downtown are probably one of my favorite things these days. Having friends downtown to meet up with, or friends who are willing to trek out here via bus (or worse, park!) to visit over lunch or drinks... it is a much bigger kindness than they may even realize. It can be a bit stressful (seeing as you have time limits and work is rather unpredictable day to day), but it's wonderful and fun. And today, it went quite smoothly. Here's to many more lunch dates with one of my favorite ladies to be in the city with - and who now works within "walking distance."

That twas such fun :) I can't wait till we find more cozy lunch spots. I believe they are just playing hide and seek from us at the moment :)
