Apparently it's Bob Marley, but it reminds me of something I've heard Linda say a few times. Funny the ideas we get in our heads of what the perfect relationship should be, and what that perfect man will look like. Turns out real life is a little different - it is wonderful and beautiful and full of blessings, but it's not a hallmark special. He may not recite Keats to me or bring me home my favorite flowers every night on his way home from work in his perfectly trim suit... but he'll be a man I can rely on and laugh with and I think real is better. :) Ay, ladies? That said, I'm kind of a fan of this quote - feel free to disagree, it'll make more interesting comments. ;)
