Organizing means opening the "keepsake" boxes in my room. I haven't seen this list in quite some time, and honestly I don't remember when I wrote it, but not much has changed. It is especially fun timing to come across it, as I've been thinking a lot this past week on those 25 goals I'd like to set for my 25th year. Some of these make me laugh (like riding on a train/ sailboat), but if I'm honest, I wouldn't remove them from the list even if I could. :) Life's full of the big and the little, and I'm glad I've included both on my lists over the years. At first I thought I'd written this in college, but since I took Italian my Freshman year, it had to be before that (since I said "French/ Italian") - this had to be over five years ago, probably closer to seven.
In the little chest that held this, I also came across my first letter from UW College of Arts & Sciences for making the Dean's list, my flight stubs for my first trip to Tennessee (when Jason proposed to Kim), my first paycheck stub, and a number of keepsakes from my trip to Italy. Suffice to say, my eyes were full of tears. Amazing how life hurries on and yet is so rich. Also, amazing how dangerously sentimental I can be. :/
I can mark off college.
I've begun my wine collection (small, but precious to me).
I took Italian, but since I've let my command of conversation slip away, I don't think I can cross it off.
All the rest are yet to be... and I look forward to sharing them on here, with you, as they happen. :)

No way, I just went through a box of similar sentimental keepsakes while organizing my room! You are not alone in collecting random mementos! :)
guarantee you that was from MC's. When Connie had us all make lists :)
Nope, I still have that list too, those were on index cards. (though, they're very similar lists.)
Do you remember when we did this together and wrote one for me? Would it have been the same time you wrote this one? That is one of my favorite memories with you!
