So that brings us here, a run, some laundry, reading, time with the Lord, blogging, emailing and 3 cups of coffee later I showed up at work like Cameron Diaz's character on the stock floor in What Happens in Vegas. I was reading to make work happen. And Kristin and Steph wanted to shoot me. I'm anticipating the crash that will come around 1pm I am sure. But in the meantime...
* It is a proven fact that a UPS or Fedex man will show up with a delivery for me to sign for the moment I start eating. Happens without fail. I washed my hands, sat down to eat my cheese danish and walla! Please use this germ-covered pen to sign in this box please... oh yes, and then continue to carry food from your plate to your mouth with that same hand. I don't think so buddy. I can only celebrate that it was fedex this time so I didn't have to here the same guy sing "U-P-S" as he walked in the door. Something about his little ditty just fails to catch me. :/ I tend to dread it when I look up and see him approaching the glass doors at our office entrance.
*I listened to a woman tell a man all about her annual international trips, as they walked a few paces behind to work. It was very interesting, until she started eating. I suddenly quickened my pace and tried to leave them behind at some crosswalk. I don't love my morning stroll to work to be set to the soundtrack of another woman's breakfast-filled-mouth.

*I want to go fishing. On my run a couple days ago I came across a man sitting alone on a dock, fishing. I haven't gone in years, and I don't like to have to bait my own hook... but I love sitting on a sunny day by a lake. Enjoying something cold and delicious and a close friend's company.
*My boss has already left work for the day. So he said. And I think he was being serious. Lame. Apparently while I was away this morning, he told Kristin he was going to let me have the day off to go hangout in my swimsuit and longboard, as a thank you for my hard work. He'd changed his mind by the time I got back. I guess he liked the sound of it himself. ;) It's okay, I'm ready to work.
*Our weather forecast is better than San Francisco's. FYI. :)
