Tape [recording from LBL to me]: I’d actually prefer that- just drive out there. I don’t know if you can drive or not, I think you can, you’re old enough. You should be able to drive a car. And if you don’t have a drivers license, you should get one. And that’s your whole assignment on the MBA. And I don’t want this to get put off, I want you to get right on this.

You should write him this long memo about how you can't make it in on Thursday because you are out getting your drivers license (and we all now how long that can take) and then picking up MBA stuff. Should take most of Tursday and Friday, etc.
