Thinking a lot about special people in my life... the ones most dear. And it got me thinking how grateful I am to have been in these dear friends' weddings. To call it a "special day" is to do a woman's wedding day a great injustice. But that's why I most often find myself speechless and teary-eyed as I stand beside a friend, pledging her heart and life to a man willing to do the same. Two becoming one... a true wonder of the world, a creation that could only come from our God. What a wonder and a beauty... as are these amazing women. What wonderful examples they've each set for me too.

Some of my favorite memories... and I love every one of these ladies more today than then... even Larissa... after she made us 'strut' down the aisle, alone... runway style. Thankfully she had a sassy crew of bridesmaids. ;)

It is also worth noting, I have learned a lot, and acquired a lot from these weddings... a closet of dresses and shoes, earings, hair pins, some do's and some don'ts. And the number of Katie Hallstrom. But don't you worry, I'm still working hard to catch up with the heroes of the (bridesmaid)faith... Linda, I'm on my way!

I think I recognize one of those photos from a personal ad I saw on the SAS facebook page.

HAHAHA! Out of control! Kristin has been threatening to marry me off for a large sum of money for years... little did I know she was so serious. BEWARE OF AUCTIONS!
