Fall is only a month away... And I know you all think I'm a sick person, but I can't help being excited, because that means butternut squash season is almost here!!! I started looking at recipes last night on the phone with my fellow butternut squash lover...

I feel like we didn't even get a summer this year and while I'm terribly disappointed about that, I'm already feeling my heart start to turn to that amazing season of hot drinks, delicious soups and warm breads, scarves (I added a few rows to mine this weekend), thick tights and boots, and my favorite... new pen shopping! (No matter how many years I am out of school, I think I will always buy new pens in the fall!)
